The First Smiley Face?

Harvey Ball was the first to create a happy face as far as I can tell. In 1963 he started by making a circle
with a smile for a mouth on yellow (sunshiny and bright) paper but when he Turned the drawing upside
down, the smile became a frown. This was not good at all. So he added two eyes and the Smiley Face was born.
Until I find proof otherwise, this is when the first Happy/Smiley face was created.

There are two ways to make a happy face, one is to make a perfect circle and insert the eyes and mouth in a
symmetrical way thus creating a perfect Smiley, The other is to simply freehand it and have some fun.
